About
BIArch Blog is the online journal of the Barcelona Institute of Architecture (BIArch), an international institution designed to further interaction between academic research, specialized practice and the dissemination of contemporary architecture.
The Barcelona Institute of Architecture is backed by a public-private foundation made up of economic, professional, academic and political institutions with the objective of continuing and extending the action-based discourse that marks contemporary Barcelona.
The academic core of the Barcelona Institute of Architecture as a postgraduate institute is its MBIArch master’s degree program. The MBIArch experience will cover advanced theoretical research after architecture studies and explore the body of disciplinary and technical knowledge required to direct professional practice. The MBIArch master’s degree is aimed at architects interested in optimizing their professional and academic profile to allow them to operate actively in a constantly changing professional field.
Further information about the master’s degree and the application schedule is available at www.biarch.eu.
The MBIArch starts in September 2010.
